Joy Baglio

Joy Baglio's short stories have appeared widely in publications such as Ploughshares, American Short Fiction, Tin House, The Missouri Review, The Fairy Tale Review, Conjunctions, The Iowa Review, and elsewhere. Recent honors include fellowships, grants, and residencies from Yaddo, The Elizabeth George Foundation, Ragdale, Bread Loaf and Sewanee Writers' Conferences, The Speculative Literature Foundation, and The Kerouac Project, where she was the spring 2023 writer-in-residence in Jack Kerouac's Orlando bungalow. Joy is the founder / director of the literary arts organization Pioneer Valley Writers' Workshop, based in Northampton MA and virtually, and in addition to writing, runs and organizes workshops, readings, and events. She holds an MFA from The New School and is currently at work on a collection of short stories and multiple novels.
